LIBRARY:

The institute maintains a well-stocked library. There is a good number of books on Nursing, Medicine, Surgery. A large number of magazines, text books, reference books, dictionaries, pamphlets etc. are also available. The latest issue of magazines on current affairs in politics and medicines are kept for the ready reference of the students. The study habit among the student is regularly inculcated. The audio-visual aids are properly kept and available for the students.

LABORATORY:

There are seven labs in the institution, which are nutrition lab, nursing foundation lab, pre-clinical science lab, community health nursing lab, Audio-visual lab, MCH lab and computer lab. All these labs are fully equipped with the latest apparatus and gadgets required for demos and practical.

Nursing Foundation Lab:

A nursing foundation lab is a practical learning space for nursing students to develop their skills and knowledge in the fundamentals of nursing. The lab is equipped with manikins, instruments, and other equipment to help students learn how to provide nursing care.

Nutrition Lab:

The nutrition lab is well ventilated and really much outfitted with essential amenities and advanced equipment for the use of aptitudes in planning of varied therapeutic diets. The lab is well furnished for the use of varied assortment of cooking methods towards healthy life styles. The main aim is to procured information on nourishment for support of ideal wellbeing and its application for training of sustenance.

The Nutrition lab is well established with all facilities including gas stoves, refrigerators and microwave, sort of articles and vessels for the event of skills in preparation of various food items are present. The lab is well facilitated with adoption to Cookery rules and Preservation of nutrients, ingredients to make sure the preparation of palatable food and to work out parity of diet.

Community Health Nursing Lab:

This lab ensures that the students learn home visiting bag technique & practice the community health nursing while providing family health care at the door step of the clients using modified home visiting kits. In our institute the community lab is proper equipped and well furnished with healthy environment of learning.

The lab consists of the all equipment for providing the basic care in term of primary health care like community bag, Maternity kit and others. The lab is arranged in such a manner that the student of the nursing programme can practice the procedure and make their effective A.V aids by using various charts displayed in community health care and education programme for raising the health status of individual. The college is providing all the necessary articles to student for their better understanding.

Pre-Clinical Science Lab:

It is well-equipped with models & specimens, all the bones, skeleton & subject related charts etc. The students are encouraged to use our Anatomy lab to learn Anatomy of bone & joints & other systems.

MCH Lab

The MCH Lab is equipped with maternity examination model, gynaecological examination model, delivery model, charts & other equipment. Child Health Lab is having models, charts & various play therapy material, here students learn about all the nursing care skills essential for the care of the newborn, infants & children.

Audio-visual Lab:

Our AV- aids room is fully equipped with various electronic devices for the effective teaching and learning such as LCD projectors, overhead projector, TV,  CD player, Tape recorder, charts, models, posters and different types of boards which can provide high- tech educational media to support the teaching learning activities and practical classes.

Computer Lab:

Computer Lab develops basic understanding of the uses of computer and its applications in nursing. The objective is to assist and enhance the possibilities of our nursing students in succeeding with their assignments. The other major objective is for our students to carry out deeper research for their projects.

HOSTEL FACILITIES:

The institute has a modern type hostel with all facilities. Special attention is paid towards keeping the students happy and healthy. Special efforts are made to develop good habits, discipline and cultured behaviour among the students.

CLINICAL FACILITIES:

Our institution is providing best clinical services to the students. The college has 100 bedded parent hospital named Sant Giani Gurbachan Singh Ji Khalsa Memorial Hospital which is registered under the shop and establishment act.  Our parent hospital has various departments under OPD and IPD. The hospital is providing general health services as well as speciality services like Ortho, ENT, Eye, Dermatology, Gynaecology etc.

The hospital is also providing X-ray and ultrasonography services to the needy people at the reasonable price.

The hospital is also having well ventilated laboratory where number of blood tests done at the reasonable price.
